Chau: Voice Lessons + Events

I remember the moment when I realized my love for music. I was 8 years old, and was just leaving church service when someone stopped my mom and gently said, "Your daughter...sings a little loud." I was so proud, because I thought that meant people were listening to me. (Now that I think of it, they probably meant to shame me into singing a bit quieter.) Since then, I've never stopped singing. With five years of experience in event management, I am known for my customer service and communication skills. I have previous experience working with non-profit organizations, and pledge to make your organization's mission my own. Please contact me with any questions: ChauThiTran@gmail.com

Rediet: Events + Charities + Outreach

I am currently a junior at Seattle Pacific University. After understanding the call over my life, I recently changed my major to Global Development Studies, a new major designed to train and educate students to best be equipped to work for non-profit organizations. My desire and dream job would be to work for a non-profit catering to the needs of those in our neighborhood, country, and our world. I have experience volunteering with non-profit clubs on campus (Urban Involvement), traveled to Camden, New Jersey to volunteer with Urban Promise USA, and learned about reconciliation between genocide survivors and perpetrators in Rwanda through a great non-profit called Rwanda Partners. This next year, I look forward to gaining skills of event planning and fundraising through my internship with Rwanda Partners as a Campaign Intern for Rwanda Basket Company.

I look forward to seeing what God has in store for BeSPoke+Co in the months to come. There is something unique about working with passionate people, who have an understanding of the possibilities that can happen with taking our part in making a change in our world. Whether our part is fundraising or inspiring, I hope that the team and myself could be of resource to you to help you get involved and do your part to be the change. Contact: rmm@spu.edu

I AM HEADBAND GIRL!

Cecile: Events + Charities + Outreach + Guitar lessons + [owner]

I started teaching myself the guitar about 13 years ago on a little dinky-almost ukulele sized guitar in my bedroom. I have been playing on and off stage in church, with groups of friends, at camps, etc. I am currently the worship/music director at my church in Lynnwood, WA and I am very blessed with this opportunity to serve in the music ministry.

I'm very passionate about people and especially kids. I love teaching them, they have a humorous sense of wonder whenever I teach a lesson whether it be in a story in sunday school, sharing a toy in the old preschool room, or distinguishing parts of a guitar. It does require a great deal of patience to work with kids but I love it nonetheless. My ultimate goal is to teach in a manner that's fun, memorable, and simple. I have always been one to be more of a visual and hands on learner and in my lessons, I will be effectuating that teaching method with my students.

I'm excited to be working with such a well rounded group of beautiful individuals. We all have unique qualities to bring to the table for BeSpoke+Co. We're excited to set our business up and since we are students and young adults, it will clearly take time for our little business to be where we want it to be. In the meantime, music lessons will go on and planning for our outreach/awareness projects will resume.
